Health Officer Reports

The Health Officer for Fargo Cass Public Health (FCPH) provides guidance to the Board of Health and FCPH for the provision of essential public health services and functions, one of which is to assess and monitor population health status, factors that influence health, and community needs and assets. As such, the Health Officer creates timely Health Officer Reports, which contain relevant information about local, state and national public health issues and topics.

The reports serve as a mechanism to keep staff and the community informed of important national and local public health trends, contributing to carrying out the mission of Fargo Cass Public Health: To prevent disease and injury, promote wellness and protect community health.

The frequency of Health Officer reports is based on current public health issues and events as well as the need to provide timely information and education to the community.
