The Office of the Mayor, Josh Boschee
Josh Boschee was elected Mayor of Fargo in June of 2026 and serves as Fargo's 35th Mayor.
Boschee grew up in Minot, N.D., and graduated in 2000 from Bishop Ryan High School. He moved to Fargo that year to attend North Dakota State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in political science in 2003 and a master’s degree in education leadership in 2008.
He began his professional career at NDSU and Minnesota State University Moorhead, working primarily with student leadership programs and student organizations to help prepare students for life after college. Boschee has been a licensed Realtor since 2013 and a Broker since 2019, first with Hatch Realty and then with Real Broker, LLC after the two companies merged in 2021. He currently supports 140 Realtors and team members across North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota.
Boschee represented District 44 in the North Dakota House of Representatives from 2012 to 2024 and has served in the North Dakota Senate since 2024.
Boschee is honored to lead as Fargo's Mayor and looks forward to championing the city's opportunities while tackling the challenges it faces.
