Homelessness in Fargo
Homelessness affects many people in Fargo-Moorhead on any given night.
The City of Fargo works with the North Dakota Continuum of Care and local homeless coalition through the City’s Department of Planning and Development, Fargo Cass Public Health’s Harm Reduction Division, and various nonprofit housing, shelter, and support partners.
Every year, a Point-in-Time count is conducted in January to show who is experiencing homelessness on any given night in our region.
Information on the Point-in-Time count can be found on the following websites:
- Fargo Moorhead Coalition to End Homelessness
- North Dakota Coalition for Homeless People
- North Dakota Continuum of Care
