Preparing Items

The City of Fargo recycles a variety of items such as cans, plastic, cardboard and newspapers. Items for recycling should be rinsed and dried then placed in the city supplied ALL in ONE bin.

Do not use any plastic bags for bagging your recyclables or lining the container. Keep items loose which will allow the bin to be easily emptied. When setting the recycling bin out for collection, keep it 5 feet away from all objects and place the container so that the lid opens towards the street.
