The Second Editions bookstore is open during regular library hours.
Request for Donations
The Friends of the Fargo Public Library accept donations of used books and other media such as DVDs, CDs, and audiobooks to sell at all three Fargo Public Library locations and during their regular book sales at the Main Library.
The items can be brought to the Friends' Second Editions bookstore at the Main Library (101 4th St. N. in downtown Fargo) during regular bookstore hours. Most any type of children's or adult books and media are welcome.
Donations to the Friends are tax deductible and tax donation forms are available.
Please note: If you are donating more than three(3) boxes of materials, please contact the library or the Friends' Second Editions bookstore at 701.364.2665 before bringing any donations.
Friends volunteers are unable to help carry in donations; there is a dolly/hand truck available for use.
Due to space limitations, the Friends are unable to accept mass market paperbacks, textbooks, magazines, encyclopedias older than one year, VHS tapes, audiocassettes, and books that are damaged, smoke-filled, or moldy.
