Small Cell Wireless Facilities
What is Small Cell?
Small cell facilities are wireless, low-powered antennas used to provide wireless telecommunications services, including fifth generation (5G) cellular service. Small cells are often installed on existing structures (utility poles, traffic signal structures, street light poles, etc.) within the public right-of-way, as mandated by Federal statute.
