Branch Services Librarian - Dani Leapaldt
Dani Leapaldt has served in the Fargo Public Library for four years and currently holds the role of Branch Services Librarian at the Northport Library. She began her tenure with The City in 2021 as a Library Associate II at the Main Library and transferred to the Northport Library one year later. In July 2023, she was promoted to her current leadership role. Before joining the Library, Dani worked as an Education Specialist at the Red River Zoo.
Dani oversees daily operations at the Northport Library, providing direction and training to both full and part-time Library Associates. She delivers excellent service at the public service desks, resolves advanced patron questions and encourages the use of library resources through creative displays, signage and personalized book recommendations.
Dani also serves on the Library’s Circulation Administration and Selection teams and is co-chair of the Public Services work group. In addition, Dani contributes her creativity through design work for the Library’s posters, social media graphics and event signage.
Dani was selected for the Fargo Rising Star Award by Library leadership in recognition of her initiative, leadership and positive influence within the Fargo Public Library. She is known for her collaborative spirit and commitment to maintaining a welcoming space for patrons and staff alike.
