Deputy City Auditor - Angie Bear
Angie Bear has served in the City Auditor’s Office for seven years, currently holding the role of Deputy City Auditor. She began her career with The City of Fargo as the Utility Billing Supervisor after working for 10 years at a hospital in Devils Lake. For the past three years, she has taken on expanded leadership responsibilities in her current role.
Angie is the subject matter expert for the utility billing system, guiding and training our Customer Service Representatives not only in system use but also in quality customer service practices. She supports a wide range of responsibilities, including liquor and business licensing, gaming, sewer repair coordination and special assessments.
Angie is also the Auditor’s Office liaison for The City’s Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) project and serves as the go-to resource in the Auditor’s Office when the City Auditor is unavailable. Her exemplary customer service skills, ability to plan with foresight and extraordinary patience make her a trusted and dependable presence in the office.
In recognition of her leadership, initiative and dedication to both her coworkers and the community, Angie received the Fargo Rising Star Award, an honor presented at the City Commission meeting and bestowed by the leadership of the Auditors’ Office.
