The City of Fargo's Shamrock Search
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day by exploring Fargo in search of hidden shamrocks! Join in on the fun, discover local landmarks and win Fargo gear when you find our shamrocks.
How It Works
- 17 Shamrocks to Find – Shamrocks are hidden at recognizable locations in Fargo.
- Clues Posted Daily – Follow The City of Fargo on Facebook & Instagram and watch our stories daily from March 8-24 for hints on where to find the shamrocks.
- Turn in Your Shamrock – Bring found shamrocks to Fargo City Hall (225 4th Street North) by April 4, 2025, to claim your prize bag at the front desk outside of the Commission Chambers.
How to Participate
- Follow the Clues – Stay tuned to The City of Fargo’s Facebook & Instagram stories for daily hints.
- Explore the City – Visit familiar landmarks, enjoy the hunt and discover a shamrock.
- Claim Your Prize – Once you find a shamrock, bring it to Fargo City Hall’s front desk (1st floor) during regular business hours (Monday–Friday, 7:45 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.).
Important Rules
- Shamrocks are limited—only 17 will be hidden.
- Each participant may only return one shamrock.
- Shamrocks must be physically returned to Fargo City Hall no later than April 4, 2025, to be eligible for a prize bag.
- Have fun and respect public spaces while searching!
