Register as a New Vendor in Bonfire

The City of Fargo requires new vendors to register their business in Bonfire to receive notifications of business opportunities and submit bids and proposals electronically. Bonfire is completely free to use.

Follow these steps to sign up as a new vendor:

1. Go to The City of Fargo's Bonfire portal here.
2. In the top right, select 'Register.'
3. Answer the questions about your business.
4. Select UNSPSC Commodity Codes associated with your type of business or organization. The City's solicitations will be set up using those codes and will be matched to vendors and contractors with the same codes.
5. 'Premium Vendor' edition of Bonfire is not required to sign up as a vendor with The City of Fargo. It is completely optional and will notify vendors of RFP's open outside of the area in which the vendor is located. If you're not interested in the 'Premium Vendor' option, go to step 6.
6. Select 'Continue to registration complete' to finalize your registration.
