Washington
The Washington neighborhood is on Fargo’s north side. It is dotted with churches, parks and educational facilities, including its namesake, Washington Elementary, along with Ben Franklin Middle School and North High School.
There is also an outdoor public pool at the high school, and El Zagel public golf course in the southeast corner of the neighborhood. The VA Medical Center is also located in this neighborhood, on Elm Street and 21st Avenue North. It is primarily a single-family neighborhood with a few duplexes, condominiums and apartment buildings scattered throughout.
