New Construction

Contact the Inspections Department with your complaints about new construction projects, including:

• Unsafe conditions, such as vacant, unsecured buildings and unfilled or uncapped foundations.
• Debris from nearby construction blowing onto your lot.
• Builders dragging mud/debris into the street.

New construction and many remodeling projects require a building permit. Permits are to be displayed at the construction site for the duration of the project, except for new building where there is no place to hang the permit card.
