Lead Service Line Replacement

The City of Fargo has applied for grant funding to provide financial assistance to homeowners for Lead Service Line Replacement (LSLR). In Fargo, the homeowner owns the service line from the curb stop to the dwelling. The financial assistance will be a cost-share of greater than 66% grant applied to help homeowners. The LSLR program is being developed over the winter of 2024-25. Details and notifications are expected to be released in the spring of 2025, once the LSLR program is developed and grant funding secured. It is a goal to have grant funding available for LSLR replacement beginning in 2025.
