MINUTES OF THE FARGO DOME AUTHORITY MEETING
A regular meeting of the Fargo Dome Authority was held on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 3:30 p.m. in the FARGODOME Conference Room with President Troy Goergen presiding
Members Present: President Troy Goergen, Blake Nelson, Michael Ellingson, David Suppes, Nancy Jordheim, Rick Steen and Dan Armbrust.
Members Absent: None
Others Present: Ryan Green - City of Fargo; Sarah Dykema, Director of Marketing - FARGODOME; Bernie Larson, Assistant General Manager - FARGODOME; Susan Thompson, Director of Finance - FARGODOME; Amanda Muellenbach, Administrative and Auxiliary Services Manager - FARGODOME and Rob Sobolik, General Manager - FARGODOME.

President Troy Goergen called the meeting to order at 3:28 p.m.
Mike Ellingson made a motion, seconded by David Suppes, to approve the agenda of the November 26, 2019 Fargo Dome Authority meeting. Motion carried.
Blake Nelson made a motion, seconded by Nancy Jordheim, to approve the minutes from the October 29, 2019 Fargo Dome Authority meeting. Motion carried.
Rob Sobolik welcomed Rick Steen to the Fargo Dome Authority.
Rob Sobolik presented the General Manager's report as follows:
Year-to-Date Net Income through October is stated at $429,475 which is a positive variance (to budget) of $62,560.
Upon review, Blake Nelson made a motion, seconded by Dan Armbrust, to approve the October financial statements as presented.
On call of the roll, Armbrust, Ellingson, Goergen, Jordheim, Nelson, Steen and Suppes voted aye.
Absent and not voting: None.
The motion was declared carried.

Blake Nelson presented the Fargo Dome Authority Building and Finance Committee report. The Fargo Dome Authority Building and Finance Committees met on Wednesday, November 20, 2019. Items discussed included:
October 2019 Financial Statements: The October 2019 Financial Statements were approved by the Finance Committee at the meeting on November 20, 2019.
Project Updates:
Ticketing RFP – Susan provided an overview of the ticketing RFP process. Please see attachment. It was noted that the RFP would cover both FARGODOME and the Civic Center. The process will begin in December 2019.
Insurance Valuation and 2020 Renewals – Susan provided an overview of the insurance valuation and 2020 property and general liability renewals. Please see attachment.
Capital Reallocation Request: Rob presented the committees with a capital reallocation request. Rob was requesting to purchase a snow pusher that was in the 2020 budget in 2019. The City’s Fleet management put out an RFP for a snow pusher, receiving three bids back with the low bid coming in at $12,900 from Titan Machinery. Rob requested to reallocate $12,900 from 2019 budgeted non-allocated to new project FD1918 Snow Pusher.
The Finance Committee and Building Committee each accepted motions to approve the reallocation of $12,900 from 2019 budgeted non-allocated to new project FD1918 Snow Pusher.
Escrow Balance and Performance Reports: Escrow Balance & Performance Reports: The FARGODOME permanent fund performance, year-to-date, through September 2019 is 1.24%. Please see attachments.
Blake Nelson made a motion to approve the Building and Finance Committee report as presented.
On call of the roll, Armbrust, Ellingson, Goergen, Jordheim, Nelson, Steen and Suppes voted aye.
Absent and not voting: None.
The motion was declared carried.
Additional Items:
Rob noted that he had RL Engebretson look at the backstage catering area and dressing rooms for a potential remodel. There will be further discussion on this item at upcoming meetings.
The next Fargo Dome Authority meeting will be on December 9, 2019 at 4:30 p.m.
