Arts & Culture Commission - March 15, 2017 Minutes

Regular Meeting: Wednesday: March 15, 2017:

The Regular Meeting of the Arts and Culture Commission of the City of Fargo, North Dakota, was held in the City Commission Room at City Hall at 4:00 o’clock p.m., Wednesday, March 15, 2017.

The Arts and Culture Commissioners present or absent were as follows:

Present: Arlette Preston, Dayna Del Val, David Bertolini, Cassandra Miller, Jessica Jung, Deb Williams, Michael Olsen, Netha Cloeter

Absent: Tim Lamey

Chair Bertolini called the meeting to order and welcomed Members to the meeting.

Item 1: Approve Order of Agenda
Planning Administrator Nicole Crutchfield would like to add 2017 Goals and Milestones to the agenda. Mr. Olsen moved the Order of Agenda be approved with the addition of 2017 Goals and Milestones. Second by Ms. Preston. All Members present voted aye and the motion was declared carried.

Item 2: Minutes: Regular Meeting of February 15, 2017
Ms. Preston moved the minutes of the February 15, 2017 Arts and Culture Commission meeting be approved. Second by Mr. Olsen. All Members present voted aye and the motion was declared carried.

Item 3: Update on City Hall Public Art
Planning Administrator Nicole Crutchfield gives an update on the subcommittee meeting for the new city hall. The subcommittee will be discussing budget and the vision for the new city hall and will bring forward a budget to the April Arts and Culture Commission meeting.

Item 4: Update on Public Arts Master Plan
Ms. Crutchfield gives an update on the Public Arts Master Plan. Documents will be prepared and distributed to the Arts and Culture Commission in April.

Item 4: 2017 Goals and Milestones
Ms. Crutchfield presents the goals and milestones for 2017.
