The Fargo Public Library is seeking writing and art project entries for the “Northern Narratives Junior” publication (a kids-only edition of the library’s literature publication, “Northern Narratives”). Kids in kindergarten through sixth grade are welcome to submit entries in the following categories: short stories, poetry, comics, nonfiction essays, drawing or photography. Entries must be received between March 1 and April 30, 2025. All submissions will be judged, with prizes awarded to first and second place in each category. All entries that meet eligibility requirements and guidelines will be included in the Fargo Public Library’s online literary magazine.
Participants can submit entries by mail, email or in-person at any Fargo Public Library location. Forms, rules and entry instructions are available online and at all three Fargo Public Library locations. Entry forms must accompany all submissions. Winners will be announced in late May. For more information about the “Northern Narratives Junior” publication, please visit fargolibrary.org/kids, email kids@fargolibrary.org or call 701.241.1495.
Fargo Public Library events are free and open to the public.
