Winter sowing is a way to germinate seeds by creating an environment that copies the way they grow in nature. It works for seeds that need the cold and moist cycle of winter conditions (stratification) for them to sprout when nature tells them to. We will create mini greenhouses from milk jugs and plant native pollinators. Set your greenhouse outside in a sunny spot and wait for the seeds to sprout in spring!
