Board Vice-President Amy Ouren called the meeting to order at 4:02 p.m. A quorum was not met.

Staff Report
Megan Lass presented highlights of staff updates and events including:
• Staffing
– The Branch Services Librarian Position opening has closed.
Applicants are under review
Interviews will be scheduled soon
• Children's
– Author Deb Watley (Summer Ruins) will be visiting April 1 at Bonanzaville
Recommended for ages 8 and up
Part of the Red River Valley Kids Read Series

Director Tim Dirks summarized the written report in the Board Packet.

New Business
No Quorum to discuss on voting issues
Information regarding Senate Bill 2360 & House Bill 1205
Director Tim Dirks gave a brief explanation of the status of both bills. Each bill was passed on the floor in its own house and in the judiciary committees of the opposite house. Both bills now stand for vote (recommended yes) on the House and Senate floors. The Fargo City Commissioners have formerly opposed both bills and Director Tim Dirks is working on next steps with the City Attorney’s Office.

Director Tim Dirks recognized the gifts from the Friends of the Library which were used towards the Red River Valley Kids Read Program, the Seed Library, Crafternoons and Staff Development. Many Thanks to the Friends for their continued support
