MINUTES OF THE FARGO DOME AUTHORITY MEETING
A regular meeting of the Fargo Dome Authority was held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at 3:30 p.m. in the FARGODOME Administrative Conference Room with President David Suppes presiding.
Members present: David Suppes, Blake Nelson, Michael Ellingson, Todd Olson, Troy Goergen, Dan Armbrust (via phone) and Rick Steen (via phone).
Members absent:
Others present: Tyler Haehn – City of Fargo; Zach Prante, Accounting Manager – FARGODOME; Kacie Erickson, Director of Food & Beverage – FARGODOME; Sarah Dykema – Director of Marketing and Sales – FARGODOME; Amanda Muellenbach, Director of Administration – FARGODOME; Bernie Larson, Assistant General Manager – FARGODOME and Rob Sobolik, General Manager – FARGODOME.

President David Suppes called the meeting to order at 3:32 p.m.
Blake Nelson made a motion, seconded by Michael Ellingson, to approve the agenda of the March 31, 2026 Fargo Dome Authority meeting as presented. Motion carried.
Troy Goergen made a motion, seconded by Todd Olson, to approve the minutes from the February 24, 2026 Fargo Dome Authority meeting. Motion carried.
Rob Sobolik presented the General Manager’s report as follows:
• Year-to-Date Net Income through February 2026 is stated at $233,579, which is a positive variance (to budget) of $136,526.
• Past and Upcoming Events: RRV Home & Garden Show on February 27-March 1, 2026. RRV Sportsmen’s Show on March 5-8, 2026. Disney on Ice on March 12-15, 2026. NDHSAA State Boys Basketball Tournament on March 19-21, 2026. PRCA Rodeos on March 27-28, 2026. Scheels Men’s FAST Event on April 2, 2026. NDSU Football Coaches Clinic on April 10-11, 2026. Shrine Circus on April 17-19, 2026. Nate Bargatze on April 23, 2026. Sanford Health Employee Recognition Event on April 28, 2026.
Blake Nelson presented the Fargo Dome Authority Building and Finance Committee report. The Fargo Dome Authority Building and Finance Committees met on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. Items discussed included:
• February 2026 Financial Statements: The February 2026 Financial Statements were approved by the Finance Committee at the meeting on March 25, 2026.
• Project and Capital Budget Updates:
o The main drain in the Zamboni pit has been repaired. The repair was paid out of the FARGODOME permanent fund and was approved by the City Commission.
o FARGODOME is moving forward with site survey plans for the parking lots.
• Escrow Balance & Performance Reports: The FARGODOME permanent fund performance, year-to-date, through December 2025 is 7.78%. Please see attachments.
Blake Nelson made a motion, seconded by Mike Ellingson, to approve the Building and Finance Committee report as presented.
On call of the roll, Armbrust, Ellingson, Goergen, Nelson, Olson, Steen and Suppes voted aye.
Absent and not voting:
The motion was declared carried.
Nominating Committee: David Suppes appointed Blake Nelson, Todd Olson and Michael Ellingson to the Nominating Committee.
Convention Center Update: The Fargo Dome Authority had their interview with the Convention Center Committee on March 10, 2026. The Convention Center Committee plans to evaluate the finalists and make their selection by the end of April 2026.
The next Fargo Dome Authority meeting will be on April 28, 2026 at 3:30 p.m.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 3:47 p.m.
