MINUTES OF THE FARGO DOME AUTHORITY MEETING

A regular meeting of the Fargo Dome Authority was held on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at 3:30 p.m. in the FARGODOME Conference Room with President Troy Goergen presiding.

Members present: President Troy Goergen (via phone), Blake Nelson (via phone), Michael Ellingson (via phone), David Suppes (via phone), Nancy Jordheim (via phone), Rick Steen (via phone) and Dan Armbrust (via phone).

Members absent:

Others present: Brian Sellin – City of Fargo (via phone); Bernie Larson, Assistant General Manager (via phone); Sarah Dykema, Director of Marketing (via phone); Susan Thompson, Director of Finance – FARGODOME (via phone); Amanda Muellenbach, Administrative and Auxiliary Services Manager – FARGODOME (via phone) and Rob Sobolik, General Manager – FARGODOME (via phone).

President Troy Goergen called the meeting to order at 3:31 p.m.
David Suppes made a motion, seconded by Dan Armbrust, to approve the agenda of the April 28, 2020 Fargo Dome Authority meeting. Motion carried.
Blake Nelson made a motion, seconded by Nancy Jordheim, to approve the minutes from the March 31, 2020 Fargo Dome Authority meeting. Motion carried.

Rob Sobolik presented the General Manager’s report as follows:
- Year-to-Date Net Income through March 2020 is stated at $228,275 which is a negative variance (to budget) of $79,845.
- Upon review, Blake Nelson made a motion, seconded by David Suppes, to approve the March 2020 financial statements as presented.
On call of the roll, Armbrust, Ellingson, Goergen, Jordheim, Nelson, Steen and Suppes voted aye.
Absent and not voting: None.
The motion was declared carried.

Review of Current Events: Rob gave an update on FARGODOME operations and the status of current events. Events scheduled from the end of March through June have either been cancelled, rescheduled or postponed. FARGODOME staff continues to plan for the future and for reopening the facility on a non-event and event basis. The status of future events are largely dependent on the event promoters.

The next Fargo Dome Authority meeting will be on May 26, 2020 at 3:30 p.m. There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 3:53 p.m.
