The Regular Meeting of the Community Development Committee of the City of Fargo, North Dakota, was held in the Sky Commons Conference Center at the Fargo Civic Center at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 17, 2023.

The Community Development Committee Members present or absent were as follows:

Present: Commissioner John Strand, Mayor Tim Mahoney, Michael Redlinger, Linda Klebe, Robin Nelson (Fargo Board of Education), Chris Brungardt (Fargo Housing & Redevelopment Authority), Thomas Hill (United Way), Cindy Graffeo (Downtown Community Partnership)

Absent: Samantha McDonald, Ken Enockson, Rocky Schneider (Fargo Planning Commission)

Item 1. Welcome
Chair Strand welcomed Members to the meeting and introductions were made.

Item 2. Approval of Minutes: Regular Meeting of May 17, 2022
Member Brungardt moved the minutes of the May 17, 2022 Community Development Committee meeting be approved as presented. Second by Member Graffeo. All Members present voted aye and the motion was declared carried.

Item 3. Facilitated Discussion
a. 2022 Review
Discussion was held regarding work done by the Community Development Committee and Community Development division of the Planning Department in 2022.

b. Department Priorities
Discussion was held regarding priorities for the Community Development division of the Planning Department.

c. Committee Structure
Discussion was held regarding the structure of the Community Development Committee.
