CITY HALL AUDITORIUM COMMISSION
The City Hall Auditorium Commission held a meeting Friday, January 19, 2018, at 8:00 A.M. in the Commission Room of City Hall.
The members present were as follows:
PRESENT: Deutsch, Armbrust, & Nustad.
ABSENT: Olson & Thompson.
OTHERS: Bruce Grubb
President Armbrust called the meeting to order.
MINUTES APPROVED:
Deutsch moved approval of Minutes of meeting held on October 20, 2017. Seconded by Nustad.
FINANCIAL REPORT:
Had a good months of November and December 2017. Deutsch moved approval of financial report. Seconded by Nustad.
DIRECTOR'S REPORT:
We have seven new events at the Civic in the first three months. Dates are looking better than last year. Meeting was turned over to Mr. Bruce Grubb. Talked about the Civic Center for the year or 2019. Taking the City Hall down. The cost to move the steam boiler plant and the cooling tower tear down from the City Hall and put into the Civic Center has a cost of $800,000.00. Earliest that the City Hall would come down would be July 1, 2018 only once Civic Center is done. Motion to continue discussion about this matter at next meeting by Deutsch. Seconded by Nustad. Motion passed. Motion to table this information when more information is available by Armbrust. Seconded by Deutsch. Motion passed.
