Step 6: Obtain Building Permit
This step consists of the designer(s) and contractor(s) being issued a building permit by the City of Fargo Inspections Department.
Who: The City of Fargo Inspections Department and the project owner/developer, designer(s), contractor(s) or representative(s)
What: The Contractor, owner, architect or owners representative requests a building permit from the Inspections Department. A final value of work may be requested at that time.
When: Regular office hours, Monday through Friday
Where: The City of Fargo Inspections Department, Fargo City Hall
Why: To enable the subject project to proceed as planned
