Spring is headed our way and the FPL Seed Library is back for 2025. Starting Wednesday, April 2, residents are encouraged to try out some seeds for free. This year, seed packets are available at the downtown Main Library and the Dr. James Carlson Library locations. A random assortment of vegetable, herb, and flower seeds will be available to the public while supplies last. Residents are asked to only take up to 5 packets per household. Also, gardeners are asked to show what they grow by tagging the library on Facebook and Instagram using the hashtag #FPLSeeds. For more information about the Seed Library, contact Lori at 701.476.5977.
Special thanks to the NDSU Extension's Master Gardener Program for making this program possible.
