Spring is headed our way and the FPL Seed Library is back for 2025. Starting Wednesday, April 2, residents are encouraged to try out some seeds for free. This year, seed packets are available at the downtown Main Library and the Dr. James Carlson Library locations, while supplies last. The Seed Library is a collection of vegetable, herb, and flower seeds available to residents to plant and grow at home. Residents are asked to only take up to 5 packets per household; no checkout required. For more information about the Seed Library, contact Lori at 701.476.5977, or call the Main Library Circulation Desk at 701.241.1472 or the Dr. James Carlson Library at 701.476.4040.

Also, gardeners are asked to show what they grow by tagging the library on Facebook and Instagram using the hashtag #FPLSeeds.

Special thanks to the NDSU Extension's Master Gardener Program for making this program possible.
