At approximately 6:35 a.m. on Friday, February 14, the Fargo Police Department (FPD) responded to a report of a stabbing in the 3000 block of Interstate Blvd. in Fargo, ND.
Officers arrived to find one victim who had sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The individual was transported by ambulance to a local healthcare facility for treatment.
Through the course of the investigation, FPD determined the individuals involved were known to each other. The suspect who stabbed the victim was identified as 24-year-old Garret Morin of West Fargo. Morin was taken into custody on an unrelated warrant for a probation violation as the investigation continued.
The Fargo Police Department continues to investigate the motive behind Morin’s actions. Possible charges related to this incident will be under review by the Cass County State’s Attorney’s Office.
