The Fargo Police Department to Promote Safety and Spread Holiday Cheer with “Police Navidad” Campaign

The community is invited to join FPD officers at festivities throughout the season

The Fargo Police Department is excited to announce the launch of its Police Navidad campaign, a festive initiative designed to promote holiday safety and strengthen connections with the community during this special time of year. This multi-faceted campaign will feature engaging social media content, community events and charitable activities, all aimed at spreading holiday joy while emphasizing the importance of staying safe during the winter season.

Throughout the Police Navidad campaign, FPD officers will take part in numerous community holiday events, including:
Cookies with Claus hosted by Fraser LTD on November 29 at the FARGODOME
Holiday Lights Parade on December 7 in downtown Fargo
Salvation Army Bell Ringing on December 10 at the West Acres Mall
Shop with a Cop hosted by the Fraternal Order of Police on December 18

In addition, The Fargo Police Department will host several family-friendly activities in collaboration with community partners:

Children’s Storytimes at Fargo Public Library locations:
o Monday, December 2: Main Library (10 a.m. and 11 a.m.)
o Tuesday, December 3: Northport Library (10 a.m.)
o Wednesday, December 11: Carlson Library (10 a.m. and 11 a.m.)

Skate with a Cop at Broadway Square:
o Wednesday, December 11 (6 p.m. until 8 p.m.)
Families are invited downtown to skate with officers and receive exclusive holiday shopping coupons courtesy of the Downtown Community Partnership.

Fargo Police Day at Santa's Village at Rheault Farm:
o Thursday, December 19 (4 p.m. until 7 p.m.)
FPD officers will assist Santa and Mrs. Claus, give squad car tours and participate in arts and crafts activities, in partnership with the Fargo Park District.

Winter Clothing Drive:
o December 2–19
The FPD is collecting new or gently used winter clothing to support Fargo Public Schools Husky Hutch and The Source at the Agassiz building. Donations can be dropped off at the FPD lobby (8 a.m. through 4:30 p.m.) or Midwest Communications, 1020 25th St. S.
