The City of Fargo offices, Fargo Cass Public Health, Municipal Court, all Fargo Public Library branches and MATBUS offices will be closed for the Thanksgiving Day holiday on Thursday, November 28. Regular hours will resume on Friday, November 29.
On Monday, November 25, and Friday, November 29, garbage and recycling will be collected on their regular schedule. On November 26, 27 and 28 (Tuesday through Thursday), collections will occur one day early. Residents are reminded to always place garbage carts and recycling bins out for collection by 8 a.m. The Fargo Sanitary Landfill and Household Hazardous Waste Facility will be closed on Thursday, November 28, and regular hours will resume on Friday, November 29.
There will be no MATBUS service on Thursday, November 28. Regularly scheduled routes will resume on Friday, November 29. NDSU routes will not operate November 27 through November 29 (Wednesday through Friday) and will resume on Monday, December 2.
The public lobbies of Fargo Police Department Headquarters (105 25th St. N.) and Fargo Fire Department Station 1 (637 NP Ave.) will be closed on Thursday, November 28. However, full police and fire protection will continue during the holiday.
