UPDATE: As part of the ongoing investigation into the stabbing incident that occurred on Saturday, March 9, the FPD obtained a warrant for arrest for a second suspect, Brandon Willis.

Late on Friday, March 15, the FPD located and arrested Willis, a 39-year-old with no permanent address, for Accomplice to Robbery with a Firearm/Dangerous Weapon and Accomplice to Aggravated Assault with a Dangerous Weapon with an Adult Victim.

At 2:25 a.m. on Saturday, March 9, The Fargo Police Department responded to a report of a male with visible injuries and blood on his clothing in the 600 block of NP Ave. When officers arrived, it was determined the victim had been stabbed multiple times and was transported to a local health care facility to receive treatment for non-life-threatening injuries. Due to a language barrier, the victim was unable to provide a statement to officers before being transported for treatment.

FPD officers investigated the scene and traced the blood to a vehicle that was parked a short distance away. The Criminal Investigations Division continued the investigation into this incident, working with local businesses to obtain surveillance video of the incident. After reviewing the videos, Alicia Flores, a 21-year-old Moorhead resident, was identified as the suspect. The FPD obtained a warrant for her arrest.

Collaborating with the Metro Street Crimes Unit, Moorhead Police Department and Clay County Sheriff’s Office, the FPD located Flores in the 3000 block of 18th St. S. in Moorhead. On Thursday, March 14, at approximately 4:30 p.m., Flores was arrested and was charged with Accomplice to Robbery and Accomplice to Aggravated Assault. She was transported to Clay County Jail.

The FPD continues to investigate this incident. An additional person of interest has been identified and is believed to have been involved in this incident.
