Spring is headed our way soon and the FPL Seed Library is back for 2024. Starting Friday, March 15, residents are encouraged to try out some seeds for free. This year, seed packets are available at the downtown Main Library and the Dr. James Carlson Library. A random assortment of vegetable, herb, and flower seeds will be available to the public while supplies last. Residents are asked to only take up to 5 packets per visit per household. Also, gardeners are asked to show what they grow by tagging the library on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter using the hashtag #FPLSeeds. For more information about the Seed Library, contact Kayla at 701.476.4026.
Special thanks to the NDSU Extension's Master Gardener Program for making this program possible.
