The Fargo Police Department and Fargo Fire Department to Face Off in Battle of the Badges Blood Drive

The Fargo Fire Department will compete against The Fargo Police Department in the third annual Battle of the Badges Blood Drive on Wednesday, Sept. 27.

This friendly competition between the two departments will be held from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the American Red Cross office at 2602 12th St. N. in Fargo.

The public is encouraged to participate by donating blood on Wednesday, Sept. 27.

Individuals interested in donating blood can schedule an appointment by calling 1.800.RED.CROSS (1.800.733.2767) or visiting RedCrossBlood.org and entering the sponsor code “Fargo Battle.”

Individuals donating in honor of their favorite first responder department will receive a Red Cross dry bag while supplies last.

In 2022, the Battle of the Badges Blood Drive brought in a total of 44 donations and a win for the Fargo Fire Department.

The media is invited to attend a photo and interview opportunity at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27, with FFD Fire Marshal Ryan Erickson and FPD Sgt. Jerrod Wagner as they donate blood to kick off the competition.
