Fargo Public Library has added nearly 30,000 movies and other videos that inspire, educate and entertain, from Kanopy. Starting today, only Fargo residents with a valid Fargo Public Library card can stream thousands of enriching films, anytime and anywhere, for free via Kanopy. The streaming platform’s unique selection offers something for everyone, from award-winning independent films to important and timely documentaries, to foreign films, popular cinema, children’s shows and more. Content on Kanopy is always available – no waitlists or holds, and each cardholder can check out five movies per month. To get started, register at https://www.kanopy.com/fargolibrary. Note: Kanopy is only available to library cardholders who are Fargo residents.
Kanopy is a video streaming service that provides instant access to thousands of critically acclaimed movies, documentaries, TV series, and kid favorites. Its collection includes titles from Warner Bros., MGM, BBC, Neon, Film Movement, The Criterion Collection, PBS, and The Great Courses among others. Also included is the Kanopy Kids collection with curated titles from Weston Woods, Sesame Street, Jim Henson Productions, Signed Stories, and more. This diverse collection has something for everyone and can be streamed from any computer, television, mobile device or platform by downloading the Kanopy app for iOS, Android, AppleTV, Chromecast or Roku.
