Library to Host Tiny Art Show Craft Sessions and Exhibit

Three all-ages sessions are planned; the first is June 11 at the Dr. James Carlson Library

Artists of all ages are invited to be a part of the Fargo Public Library’s Tiny Art Show this summer. To participate, residents can attend one of three scheduled sessions to create a painting. Sessions are at the following dates, times and locations:
• Saturday, June 11, 10:30 a.m., Dr. James Carlson Library, 2801 32nd Ave. S.
• Tuesday, June 14, 6 p.m., Main Library, 101 4th St. N.
• Thursday, June 16, 6 p.m., Northport Library, 2714 Broadway.
These sessions are open to all ages and registration is not required. One canvas per person, while supplies last. For details, contact Bree at 701.476.5978.

For those unable to attend one of the sessions, participants can pick up a mini canvas at any Fargo Public Library location to paint at home beginning June 13, while supplies last. Participants in the Tiny Art Show are asked to return their painted canvases to one of the library locations by July 5. Finished paintings will be on display at all three library locations in late July.

Fargo Public Library events are free and open to the public. Children ages nine and younger must be accompanied by an adult. For more information about the library and a list of upcoming events, call 701.241.1472.
