Spring is headed our way soon and the FPL Seed Library is back for 2022. Starting Monday, March 7, residents are encouraged to try out some seeds for free. This year, seed packets are available at the downtown Main Library and the Dr. James Carlson Library. A random assortment of vegetable, herb, and flower seeds will be available to the public while supplies last. Residents are asked to only take what they plan to grow. Remember to show us what you grow by tagging us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter using #FPLSeeds. For more information about the Seed Library, contact Kayla at 701.476.4026.
Special thanks to the following organizations who have made this program possible: the Friends of the Fargo Public Library, NDSU Extension's Master Gardener Program, Baker Garden and Gift, West Coast Seeds, Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds, Hudson Valley Seed Co., and High Mowing Organic Seeds.
