WHEREAS, ABLE Games was started in 2021 by TNT Kid’s Fitness as a one-of-a-kind fitness competition designed for athletes to showcase all abilities competing together side by side; and

WHEREAS, ABLE Games promotes a competition with an integration of physicality at all levels of ability. This competition is designed for the everyday athlete. Competitors consist of individuals with special needs, high level athletes, teenagers and members of the general population competing together on the same floor; and

WHEREAS, ABLE Games celebrate an integrated competition that can be replicated with other competitions and to grow in functional fitness and provide an inclusive setting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That I, Dr. Timothy J. Mahoney, Mayor of the City of Fargo, do hereby proclaim May 14 and 15, 2021 as
2021 ABLE GAMES
in the City of Fargo, North Dakota and call upon all to promote a sense of equality and camaraderie with all people of all disabilities and to take a proactive role in the well-being of themselves, their families and the community.
