The Fargo Fire Department (FFD) has released its 2020 Annual Report, highlighting the department’s challenges and triumphs of the previous year. This comprehensive report details the department’s response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, its role in combatting spring flooding and manner in which it attained Accredited Fire Agency Status amidst unprecedented challenges. The report also includes a summation on FFD’s six long-term planning goals, which guide the department and provide a roadmap to continued success, along with specific strategies FFD utilizes to achieve its goals.

Fargo Fire Chief Steve Dirksen stated, “Despite the disruption to our normal operations, our team continued to deliver high levels of service to the community in 2020. I am pleased to report we never dropped our laser focus on execution and getting the job done. None of this would be possible without the expertise and dedication of all 123 members of the FFD Team.”
