WHEREAS, Karen Moore began her service as a Commissioner on the Fargo Housing and Redevelopment Authority Board of Commissioners on the 28th day of June 1999; and

WHEREAS, Since that time, Commissioner Moore embodied and exemplified the mission of Fargo Housing and Redevelopment to empower people to achieve independence through housing; and
-
WHEREAS, Commissioner Moore demonstrated an unwavering commitment to Fargo Housing and Redevelopment Authority’s Board, staff and residents for more than 21 years; and
-
WHEREAS, Commissioner Moore’s resignation from the Fargo Housing and Redevelopment Authority was effective the 18th day of December 2020.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that I, Dr. Timothy J. Mahoney, Mayor of the City of Fargo, North Dakota, do hereby proclaim February 9, 2021 as
KAREN MOORE APPRECIATION DAY
in the City of Fargo, North Dakota.
