WHEREAS, TNT Kid’s Fitness is observing FargoMania Ninja Warrior Day on Friday, September 14, 2018 in order to build public awareness for individuals with special needs; and
-
WHEREAS, TNT Kid’s Fitness is a 501c3 organization that has touched the lives of more than 10,000 children and adults, including individuals with special needs, since 2006; and
-
WHEREAS, TNT Kid’s Fitness and our community work together to inspire all individuals of all abilities to unlock potential through movement education; and
-
WHEREAS, American Ninja Warrior, Maggi Thorne, will visit Fargo on Friday, September 14th to support TNT Kid’s Fitness and benefit FargoMania athletes; and
-
WHEREAS, FargoMania is a one-of-a-kind training program and CrossFit-style competition where individuals with special needs showcase their talents; and
-
WHEREAS, Maggi Thorne, Ninja Warrior, has teamed up with TNT to host a community fundraising event on September 14th - a luncheon at the Avalon Event Center at 11:30 am and an open gym at TNT in the evening, to celebrate the talents of all individuals of all abilities; and
-
WHEREAS, TNT’s goal is to sustain lower training costs long-term for individuals with special needs.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That I, Timothy J. Mahoney, Mayor of the City of Fargo, do hereby proclaim Friday, September 14, 2018 as FargoMania Ninja Warrior Day
in the City of Fargo, North Dakota and encourage residents to recognize all individuals of all abilities and to consider participating in TNT’s events this day. -
