The City of Fargo and Downtown Community Partnership are preparing to host the annual Downtown Fargo Street Fair this week. To accommodate the July 16-18 event, certain roads in Downtown Fargo will be closed from 6 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15, until 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 18.
The road closures will include:
• Broadway will be closed north of Main Avenue to 7th Avenue North.
• Broadway intersections at NP Avenue, 2nd Avenue North, 3rd Avenue North and 6th Avenue North will be closed.
o Broadway intersections at 1st Avenue North, 4th Avenue North and 7th Avenue North will remain open to cross traffic.
• 2nd Avenue North will be closed from Roberts Street through the intersection of 5th Street North.
• NP Avenue also remains closed from 2nd Street North to 4th Street North due to unrelated construction.
The best routes into Downtown Fargo for the Street Fair include:
• North/South: 2nd Street North, 4th Street North, 10th Street North and University Drive North
• East/West: Main Avenue, 1st Avenue North, 4th Avenue North and 7th Avenue North
