The City of Fargo is notifying residents that the recycling drop site at 1408 S. River Road, near the Water Treatment Plant in the Clara Barton-Hawthorne neighborhood, will permanently close on Thursday, April 30, to allow for construction of a flood protection levee. The City is currently evaluating nearby locations for a potential replacement site.
Residents are encouraged to use other recycling drop sites, including:
• Lewis & Clark Elementary School (18th Avenue South and 17th Street South)
• Fargo Cass Public Health (13th Avenue South and 25th Street South)
• Mickelson Park (901 Oak St. N.)
