The City of Fargo offices, Municipal Court, all Fargo Public Library branches, MATBUS offices and Fargo Cass Public Health, including WIC and clinic, will be closed for the Thanksgiving Day holiday on Thursday, November 27. Regular hours will resume on Friday, November 28.
On Monday, November 24, and Friday, November 28, garbage and recycling will be collected on their regular schedule. November 25, 26 and 27 (Tuesday through Thursday) collections will occur one day early. Residents are reminded to always place garbage carts and recycling bins out for collection by 8 a.m. The Sanitary Landfill and Household Hazardous Waste Facility will be closed on Thursday, November 27, and regular hours will resume on Friday, November 28.
There will be no MATBUS service on Thursday, November 27. Regularly scheduled routes will resume on Friday, November 28. NDSU routes will not operate November 26 through November 28 (Wednesday through Friday) and will resume on Monday, December 1.
The public lobbies of Fargo Police Department Headquarters (105 25th St. N.) and Fargo Fire Department Station 1 (637 NP Ave.) will be closed on Thursday, November 27. However, full police and fire protection will continue during the holiday.
