Fargo Public Library to Host Film Series Featuring Creepy, Classic Movies

The four-part series begins Saturday, Nov. 8, at the downtown Main Library

The Fargo Public Library will host a four-part film series starting Saturday, Nov. 8, featuring creepy, classic movies. Local film critic Matt Olien has selected the films featured in this series and will introduce each movie and lead a brief discussion after the screenings. Three of the films will be screened at the Main Library and the Nov. 22 screening will be at the Dr. James Carlson Library. All films begin at 2 p.m. and are approximately 120 minutes long. Dates and film titles are:
• Nov. 8 – “Curse of the Demon” (1957, not rated) at the Main Library
• Nov. 15 – “Rosemary’s Baby” (1968, R) at the Main Library
• Nov. 22 – “The Omen” (1976, R) at the Dr. James Carlson Library
• Nov. 29 – “The Shining” (1980, R) at the Main Library
