FARGO, NORTH DAKOTA – Area artists of all ages created and submitted 128 library card designs for the Fargo Public Library’s “Color Our World” Library Card Design Contest held as part of the 2025 Summer Reading Challenge. The contest was open to kids, teens and adults, and the entries were divided into the following age categories: Kids (12 and younger), Teens (13 to 18) and Adults (19+). Library staff selected the finalists in each category with the public voting to decide the winning designs. The winning artists in each category are:
• Kids (12 and younger): Savannah Wohlers
• Teens (13 to 18): Maria Kamrud
• Adults (19+): Nikki Nelson
Each winning design will be made into limited edition library cards, which will be available to the public starting in January 2026 as part of the library’s 125th anniversary celebration. Images of the three winning library card designs are available on the library’s website.
