Beginning at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 20, 5th Avenue South will be closed to traffic between 14th Street South and 15th Street South. Westbound traffic will be detoured to 15th Street South via 6th Avenue South. Eastbound traffic will be detoured to 14th Street South via 4th Avenue South. The road closure will allow for water infrastructure repairs to be completed.
The road is expected to fully reopen by the end of the day Wednesday, August 20.
