Area teens and kids are invited to join the Fargo-Moorhead Science Museum for hands-on activities exploring the secret work of rivers. Two workshops are planned and will feature a mobile EmRiver Stream Table. Participants will see and feel geomorphology in action and learn how rivers shape our ever-changing landscapes. Sessions are planned for the following dates, times and locations:
• Saturday, July 26 – 11 a.m. at the Northport Library
• Monday, Aug. 4 – 11 a.m. at the Dr. James Carlson Library
Open to area kids and teens, ages 10 and older, all materials will be provided at these free events. Space is limited; pre-registration is required and can be done online at fargolibrary.org. For more information, contact Cindy M. at 701.241.1495.
