Fargo Fire Department Extinguishes Structure Fire at 1613 East Gateway Circle South

The residence sustained significant damage; no injuries were reported

At approximately 12:45 a.m. on Friday, July 4, the Fargo Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a structure fire at 1613 East Gateway Circle South.

Fire crews arrived on scene to find heavy smoke and flames showing from the garage and called a second alarm. The fire had also started to spread into the home through the interior garage door.

All residents were outside by the time crews arrived. Firefighters worked quickly to contain the blaze, bringing it under control by 12:55 a.m.

No injuries were reported. The residents were displaced due to significant fire and smoke damage to the home; a cost estimate of the damage is not yet available. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

The Fargo Fire Department responded with five engines, one ladder truck and two command vehicles. The Fargo Police Department, Sanford Ambulance and the Salvation Army assisted at the scene.
