The City of Fargo and the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks will host “A Fargo Salute to Public Service” on Tuesday, June 3, during the RedHawks’ home game at Newman Outdoor Field. The event will showcase City services and offer an evening of family-friendly activities. No additional City funds are being used to sponsor this event, which is made possible through an existing community partnership between The City of Fargo and the FM RedHawks.
At the conclusion of the game, a live auction of limited-edition, game-worn jerseys will be held. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the United Way of Cass-Clay, supporting charitable initiatives throughout the region.
Event Highlights:
• City vehicle display outside the stadium entrance for photo opportunities and public viewing
• Pre-game ceremony recognizing the graduates of The Fargo Police Academy
• Ceremonial first pitch delivered by Fargo Mayor Dr. Tim Mahoney and Fargo Police Chief Dave Zibolski
• Interactive booths featuring City services and employment opportunities
• City-themed scavenger hunt with prize drawings for a chance to win a limited-edition jersey
• In-game entertainment showcasing Fargo-centric City projects and services for residents.
"This special event is a chance for our community to come together and meet the people who help keep Fargo running every day," said Mayor Dr. Tim Mahoney. "Whether it’s firefighters, snowplow drivers, police officers or water treatment plant operators – they work for you 24/7/365. Come out and meet them!"
The gates will open at 6 p.m. with the first pitch scheduled for 7:02 p.m.
