32nd Avenue South Improvement Project
The 32nd Avenue South improvement project will take place starting in Spring 2023 and last through Fall 2023. During this time, crews will reconstruct 32nd Avenue South between 32nd Street and 22nd Street. This project will accommodate the approximately 40,000 vehicles that use the 32nd Avenue South and 25th Street intersection per day.
Zone: SouthWhat zone am I?
Start: Spring 2023
Estimated Completion: Fall 2023
The purpose of this project is to improve quality and safety for both pedestrians and drivers. There will be new concrete pavement, improved pedestrian facilities, utility and drainage upgrades and improvements to the 25th Street intersection.
Access to all businesses will be available through the duration of the project. Turn lanes and intersections will be open except during temporary closures. There are no plans to divert or detour traffic from 32nd Avenue. There will be temporary and intermittent closures of north and south side intersections when crews reconstruct each side of the roadway. No two consecutive intersections can be closed for construction at the same time.
Business success is important to The City of Fargo, and we are dedicated to helping livelihoods thrive. To assist business needs through the span of the improvement project, a toolkit is available for businesses along the 32nd Avenue South corridor to connect with customers and notify them of construction project updates. Please email 32ndAve@flint-group.com to request this toolkit.
