Project: 25th Street S Reconstruction and Railroad Crossing Project
FARGO, N.D. (June 29, 2017) – Traffic impacts for the 25th Street S Reconstruction and Railroad Crossing Project will begin the morning of Wednesday, July 5. At this time, contractors will completely close 25th St. S in both directions between Main Avenue and 2nd Avenue S. Throughout the project, intersection access in the work zone will be:

__OPEN__: Intersection of 25th St. S and Main Ave. -
__CLOSED__: Intersection of 25th St. S and 2nd Ave. S
This stretch south of Main Ave. will remain closed through the duration of the project, scheduled to be completed in August. Contractors are eligible to receive $5,000/day ($75,000 max) in incentives if the project is completed ahead of the 45 day deadline.
The project will replace deteriorating pavement, sidewalks and the surface of the railroad crossing on 25th St. between Main Ave. and 2nd Ave. S. Detour routes for drivers are shown on the map below and will be posted, directing traffic west of 25th St. S via 27th Street S and 28th Street S.
