Liquor Control Board - May 24, 2017 Minutes

Present: Commissioner Piepkorn, Police Chief Dave Todd, City Auditor Steve Sprague, Grant Larson, Environmental Health

Absent: Commissioner Gehrig

Others Present: Rick Carik, Rick’s; concerned citizens and other members of the industry.

Meeting was called to order at 10:30 A.M.

1. Commissioner Piepkorn called the meeting to order and asked if there were any additions or corrections to the minutes of April 19, 2017. There were no additions or corrections to the minutes of April 19, 2017. Moved by Todd, seconded by Larson to approve the minutes of the April 19, 2017 meeting of the Liquor Control Board; all voted in favor, motion passed unanimously.

2. A. The first application to be considered today is for the transfer of a Class ABH-Limited alcoholic beverage license from PAC DAC Hospitality, LLC d/b/a Holiday Inn Express & Suites I-94 located at 4711 19th Avenue South to 4711 Hospitality LLP d/b/a Holiday Inn Express & Suites I-94 to be located at 4711 19th Avenue South.

Moved by Todd, seconded by Larson to approve the transfer of a Class ABH-Limited alcoholic beverage license from PAC DAC Hospitality, LLC d/b/a Holiday Inn Express & Suites I-94 located at 4711 19th Avenue South to 4711 Hospitality LLP d/b/a Holiday Inn Express & Suites I-94 to be located at 4711 19th Avenue South. All voted in favor, motion carried.

B. The second application to be considered today is for the transfer of a Class GH alcoholic beverage license from Bravish LLC d/b/a Himalayan Yak to Harihar LLC d/b/a Himalayan Yak to be located at 1450 25th Street South #160

Moved by Todd, seconded by Larson to approve the transfer of a Class GH alcoholic beverage license from Bravish LLC d/b/a Himalayan Yak to Harihar LLC d/b/a Himalayan Yak to be located at 1450 25th Street South #160. All voted in favor, motion carried.

3. No other or pending items.

There being no further business to come before the Liquor Control Board, the meeting was adjourned at 10:32 a.m. The next regular meeting will be held Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. in the City Commission Room.
