The Fargo Public Library’s annual “Design a Bookmark Contest” kicks off Tuesday, Sept. 1, and runs through Wednesday, Sept. 30. Artists of all ages are encouraged to take part.

Entry forms and rules for the contest are available at any Fargo Public Library location. A form and guidelines are also available at fargolibrary.org starting Sept. 1. Please note that late submissions will not be accepted.

For kids: For the children’s portion of the contest, three winners will be selected, one from each age group: 5 years old and under, 6 to 8 years old, and 9 to 12 years old. Children can submit up to three designs, and all entries will be displayed in the Children’s Department at the downtown Main Library. For further information, call Children’s Services at 701.241.1495.

For teens and adults: For the teen contest and the adult contest, two winners will be selected for each. Teens and adults can submit up to two designs. Both the teen and adult entries will be displayed at the downtown Main Library. For further information about the teen contest, call Anna at 701.298.6960. For further information about the adult contest, call Lori at 701.476.5977.

Library staff will vote to determine the winners of the contests, and winners will be announced in October. Winning bookmark entries will be printed and distributed at library locations and events.
